I may be running, but I’m no damsel in distress
What did I agree to?
I was new to Willow Creek and in desperate need of both housing and a job. That’s when a hot single dad tells me he can provide me with both.
The housing is a mother-in-law suite with a shared kitchen. And that job he had for me was a nanny.
A nanny?
Did I mention he had three little girls?
I didn’t know the first thing about kids. Except that they were usually sticky and made lots of messes.
But I was desperate so here I am, nannying these little girls. Trying to forget all the reasons I’m in Willow Creek to begin with.
Fresh start. No men. More time with my brother. No men.
That last one is tricky when my landlord and employer is hot and single. It’s made worse when he finds out why I ran away to a small town and wants to save me.
